Open Art Initiative
The Open Art Initiative launch during the height of the pandemic in order to make attending art school more accessible, at a time when many students weren’t able to build out their body of work. It eliminated application fees, waived portfolio submissions, and extended merit scholarship deadlines. I orchestrated a multifaceted organic and paid media campaign to support it. I crafted compelling multimedia assets, including a promo video featuring President Jean Dahlgren, and original audio ad, and a fun "things you didn't know about DCAD" video for social. Outcomes included local media coverage in Delaware, increased application volume, low cost-per-click for social ads, and an outpouring of positive feedback on the content's tone, creativity, and humor.
